Karl Rove is an asshole.
There is no doubt in my mind that this balding chubby little insecure small dicked dork is so caught up in his false image of himself as king-maker and “Bush’s brain” that he has begun to believe his own false hype.
His recent snit with Laurie David and Sheryl Crow at the Correspondent’s Dinner shows just how petty and insecure Karl is. When Ms. Crow and Mrs. David tried to engage Karl in a discussion about global warming he became petulant and angry. He retreated back to his table in a vain attempt to dodge the earth friendly duo and then flew into a dorkboy rage when Sheryl dared to touch his arm.
He is a great representative of the failed and insulated ignorance of this administration. Sadly, he is probably responsible for much of it if his cowardly inability to debate an issue of global importance with an adult contempary rock singer and a comedian’s wife is indicative of the policy defense of the Bush Whitehouse. No wonder we don’t engage our friends and, vitally more importantly, enemies with diplomacy, the dorks in power are incapable of setting aside their fragile ego’s to even listen to alternative viewpoints, engage in honest debate or negotiate compromise.
Karl reminds me of every single one of the homocidal kids who get tired of the insults, real and imagined, who finally snap, write a manifesto, wrap themselves in their psychotic image of tough and start shooting up the school. I guess we are lucky Rove didn’t go on a spree to get back at all the cool kids who mocked him back in the day, but he has been responsible for infinitely more deaths in the long run by trying to show how tough he is now.
